Draft Rewind 2011 – Richard Sherman – Seattle Seahawks

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about RICHARD SHERMAN: Stanford, 6025 195 4.55. Two-year starter. Tall and rangy. Former receiver who lacks corner experience and nuances of the position. An aggressive cover-two corner with good arm length. Smart and aggressive. Will contribute on special teams coverage. Strong enough to shed blocks with his hands. Competitive in his play. His receiving productivity was 81 catches for 1340 yards and seven TDs. Led the Cardinals in receiving yards his freshman and sophomore years. Made the move to corner in the spring of 2009. Strong – put up 225 pounds, 26 times at the Combine. Decent hip flexibility and turns for a tall corner. A worthwhile developmental project who will help match up to big receivers. 2010 stats: 50 tackles, 1 TFL, 4 INTs, 2 FF, 1 FR, 13 PD. BTR:left 4.69, right 4.67. Seventh round/PFA. (A-32, H-9 3/4, VJ-38, SS-4.33).
