Draft Rewind 2005 – Atari Bigby – San Diego Chargers

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about ATARI BIGBY: Central Florida, 5105 210 4.74. An athletic, four-year starter who  lines up at strong safety but will interchange and play free safety.  An aggressive player against the run with adequate instincts to locate and track the ball.  An “all or nothing” tackler who can get out of control and miss in the open field.  Plays better closer to the line of scrimmage and needs to work on pedal.  Adequate to run with tight ends and backs, but plays high and struggles to mirror with his feet.  Has adequate hands to make picks in front of him, but is questionable in adjusting and playing the ball deep.  Best NFL fit may be as a back-up or special teams player. Originally an undrafted free agent who signed with Miami.
