Draft Rewind 2006 – Kamerion Wimbley – Tennessee Titans

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about KAMERION WIMBLEY: Florida State, 6037 248 4.61.  One-year starter. Started two games as a junior. Long arms and big hands to control a blocker. Has the frame to gain more weight. Sudden initial quickness. Comes off the line with good body lean. Plays at a good pad level. Will get stuck on big tackles. In practice at the Senior Bowl he was the best pass rushing end on the South squad. Good tools to rush the passer. Fast twitch high motor player that plays the game on his feet. Needs to get stronger at the point of attack. Looks like a good fit for a rush linebacker in a 3-4 scheme. Will struggle with offensive tackles in 4-3 scheme. Has a closing burst to the quarterback. Needs to develop hands and pass rushing moves. Will contribute on special teams. His NFL success will be tied to the type of scheme he is in and what he is asked to do. First/second round. (A-33 3/4, H-10 5/8, BP-24, 10-1.59). Originally drafted by Cleveland.
