Draft Rewind 2013 – Luke Willson – Seattle Seahawks

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about LUKE WILLSON: Rice, 6053 252 4.51. Three-year starter. Canadian. Has the speed to threaten downfield seams. Can snatch the ball in his consistent hands. Good run after catch ability. Runs good routes with the ability to separate from the defender. Tough inline blocker. Spent time in the Toronto Blue Jays training camp and was drafted by the Toronto Argos in the 4th round of the Canadian draft this spring. Caught only 9 passes in 2012 after being hampered by a pair of injuries. Played in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl game. A good athlete who recently ran between 4.49 and 4.53 on several watches at pro day. He also had a vertical jump of 38 inches. Along with teammate Vance McDonald, they gave the Owls a formidable tight end duo. A developmental player with draftable qualities. Career stats: 78-986, 12.6 ypr, 9 TD. Not invited to Combine. Seventh round/PFA. (A-32 1/4, H-9 1/2, BP-23, VJ-38).
