Draft Rewind 2013: Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about TRAVIS KELCE: Cincinnati, 6047, 255, 4.65. One-year starter. A people mover as a blocker. Led the Bearcats in receptions with 45, averaging 16 yards per catch. Brother Jason is the starting center for the Philadelphia Eagles. Plays in the slot or the end of the line of scrimmage. Moves well with good balance. Aggressive blocker who flashes explosiveness. Good feet and base. Snatches the ball in his reliable hands. Has the speed to get deep and become a viable vertical threat. Adjusts well to the deep ball and can make the over shoulder catch. Needs to improve his route running in the medium and short areas. An eventual starter with developmental time. Had some red flags early in his career that reportedly have been cleared up with a more mature attitude. 2012 stats: 45-722, 16.0 ypr, 8 TD. Did not work out at the Combine, medical – sports hernia. Third/fourth round. (A-33 3/4, H-9 5/8, BP-DNP, VJ-DNP).
