2012 NFL Undrafted Free Agents – NFC West – San Francisco 49ers

Chris Owusu, WR, Stanford – 6001 196 4.36 Started 19 games in career. Graded out as the most athletic wide receiver at the Combine. We didn’t know if we would be writing a report on Owusu with three of the most vicious head shots we saw on film this year. He possesses several strong receiving attributes such as excellent body control and quick feet. He is a hand catcher who will reach and extend for the ball. Tracks the ball well on fade routes. Catches the ball and immediately goes North and South on jailbreak screens. Has a slender build. He flashes an explosive upfield burst when returning kickoffs. Will compete. Medical history will determine which round Owusu will be drafted. Speed and talent puts him in the third/fourth round area. 2011 stats: 35-376 yds, 10.7 ypr, 2 TDs. Career stats: 102-1534 yds, 15.0 ypr, 10 TDs. OSR:1/42. Third/fourth round. (A-31 3/4, H-8 1/2, VJ-40.5, SS-4.11).
