When they dropped football in 2011 he transferred to Missouri Western. Strong leg. Was a Division II All-American at UNO. Connected on 9 of 9 field goals over 50 yards in 2011. His long was 58 yards twice. Career touchback percentage was 43.1%, 91/211 at UNO. He led the nation with 2.6 field goals per game. Has explosion and pop into the ball. Good lift and leg control. Played in the Shrine East/West game. Consistent over career. Was recruited by several major colleges including Nebraska, Oklahoma State, and UCLA after UNO dropped football, but could not transfer to a FBS school because of NCAA regulations. Medical red-shirt in 2010 due to a hip injury. 2011 stats: 23/24 FGs, long 58 yds, 38/40 PATs, career 169/172 PATs. Sixth/seventh round.
