Fantasy Rankings – Top 20 RBs

  1. David Johnson, AZ – the clear cream of the crop, after amassing over 2,000 total yards, 80 receptions and an NFL high 20 touchdowns.
  2. Le’Veon Bell, PITT
  3. Devonta Freeman, ATL
  4. LeSean McCoy, BUF
  5. Todd Gurley, LAR – Gurley had a disappointing 2016 season, but look for him to break out this year with a better and more experienced offensive unit.
  6. Jay Ajayi, MIA
  7. DeMarco Murray, TN
  8. Melvin Gordon, LAC
  9. Jordan Howard, CHI – the Indiana product is coming off a stellar rookie season in which he ran for over 1,300 yards and over 5 yards per carry.
  10. Ty Montgomery, GB
  11. Christian McCaffrey, CAR – yes, we’re high on this rookie whose explosiveness and versatility will be put to immediate use by Cam Newton & co.
  12. Carlos Hyde, SF
  13. Leonard Fournette, JAC – another rookie high on our list, but keep an eye on the LSU product’s foot issues, which could slow his start.
  14. Isaiah Crowell, CLE
  15. Bilal Powell, NYJ
  16. Lamar Miller, HOU
  17. Ezekiel Elliott, DAL – he’s looking at a 6-game suspension, pending appeal, but the 2nd year phenom is still worth a relatively early pick.
  18. Joe Mixon, Cin
  19. Marshawn Lynch, OAK – he’s baaaaack! But, will he be the same backfield threat? His attitude sure hasn’t changed, which is a good sign.
  20. Dalvin Cook, MIN
