ADDITIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ODDS

Tune in to OFN College Football Preview every Friday for more in-depth analysis on the players and teams making our headlines each week and all season long.

Investments…Teams we’ve invested in to win the national championship.

September 28th

Penn State12-1…Even though we already have the Lions, we’re going to double down after their thrilling win at Iowa on Saturday night reconfirmed they can win in the clutch.

Georgia14-1…The Bulldogs are clearly the best team in the SEC East. If they can find their way to the SEC Championship Game without dropping more than one game along the way, they should easily earn a berth to the final four.

Wisconsin33-1…The Badgers have won 21 games during the first two years under Head Coach Paul Chryst and they’re well on their way for more thanks to a  schedule that is very manageable. If young players like sophomore QB Alex Hornibrook and freshman RB Jonathan Taylor can continue to grow with experience, I give this team the best chance to knock off Penn State in a rematch for the Big 10 Championship.

September 12th

USC…7-1

September 9th

Auburn…16-1

Penn State…16-1

Oklahoma State…33-1

Under advisement…Teams we’re still vetting based on the value of their futures…

Oklahoma…7-1…With Texas, TCU and Texas Tech looking better than expected, the Sooners will have a hard time running the table with a difficult five-game stretch starting with the Longhorns on October 14th.

Michigan…20-1…Wilton Speight’s injury should actually give the Wolverines a preferable chance to win the Big 10 and the odds are even better now without him. I just don’t know if I believe in John O’Korn yet either.

Washington…20-1…I’m not that confident the Huskies can win at least five of their final six games against solid competition including a potential Pac-12 Championship Game match-up with USC in order to get considered for a playoff berth. Even if they can, it might not be good enough thanks to a weak non-conference slate.

Point system…Since everyone has their own individual budget, we decided to use a straight-forward 100-point system for every investment we make. This should make it easier to follow our progress.
