Draft Rewind 2014: Morgan Moses, Washington Redskins

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about MORGAN MOSES: Virginia, 6060 314 5.35. A four-year starter who projects to the right side from the left. Effective in mirror pass protection and as an angle run blocker. Strong on down and combo blocks. Long arms for the position. Can look explosive at times and give good push in the run game. Plays with a mean streak. Has lower body stiffness. Lacks quickness to block edge speed. Will drop his head and eyes in pass protection. Needs to improve his hand strength and use. Needs to elevate his technique. Plays high and without knee bend at times in pass pro. Can be driven back. Special note: graded out 38th out of 40 offensive linemen who worked out at the Combine. Senior Bowl notes: looks the part physically with big bone girth structure in upper and lower body trunk. Did not have a productive practice week as he continually took bend out of knees on both the run and pass. Defenders ran by him and he had problems with speed off the edge and seldom blocked a quick counter move outside to inside pass rushers. Had too high of a stance and had a hard time getting low enough with backside cut-off blocks. OSR:38/40. Second/third round. (A-35 3/8, H-9 7/8, BP-DNP, 10-2.02).
