Draft Rewind 2013 – Arthur Brown – Baltimore Ravens

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about ARTHUR BROWN: Kansas State, 6003 241 4.75. Two-year starter who transferred from Miami. Two-time team captain. Lacks the bulk to hold up and collapse big lead blockers at the point of attack. Projects as a Will linebacker in the 4-3 scheme. Skates down the line of scrimmage keeping his shoulders square. A downhill collision type player. Takes good angles on perimeter pursuit. Breaks on the ball quickly in front of him. Can play man-to-man on a flex tight end. Natural ability to find the ball and make plays. Good anticipation. Can play the run, blitz, and lock up receivers in coverage. Will eventually replace a declining starter with developmental time. Will contribute on special teams’ coverage. Durability is a question because of past injury history. 2012 stats: 100 T, 7 TFL, 1 sack, 4 PBU, 2 INT. Second/third round. (A-32 1/4, H-9 7/8, BP-21, SS-4.31).
