Draft Rewind 2013 – Kiko Alonso – Buffalo Bills

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about KIKO ALONSO: Oregon, 6033 238 4.75. One year as a full time starter. Has 17 starts in 36 games to his credit. A defensive captain who plays with focus and intensity. Instinctive downhill run stuffing linebacker who throws his body at ball carriers. Plays at 7-8 yards depth. Keeps blockers off his body. Sheds quickly. Good speed and range to get outside. Hustles all out with a burst to the collision point. Tackled with his shoulder and one arm after injury to his left wrist. A poor man’s Jack Lambert. Has had off field red flags and bad decisions early in his career, but has graduated and matured according to Oregon officials. Will need some pro physical development, but should contribute on all special teams’ coverage units. 2012 stats: 81 T, 14 TFL, 1 sack, 3 PBU, 4 INT. Medical exclusion at Combine – left wrist. Fourth/fifth round. (A-32 1/8, H-9 3/4, BP-DNP, SS-4.19).
