Draft Rewind 2014: Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about DAVANTE ADAMS: Fresno State, 6007 212 4.58. Underclass entry. Two-year starter. Red-shirted in 2011. The nation’s leading receiver is big, fast, strong, and can go after the ball. Plays the ball in the air. Was the feature receiver in a wide open, pass first spread offense. Good size and leaping ability. Catches the ball in his strong hands. Will go up after the ball and not wait on it. A possession type receiver who has good quickness and body control in and out of his cuts. Quicker than fast. Was the favorite target of Derek Carr. Never saw a big time corner that could challenge him. Has a chance to be a third or fourth receiver on the next level. Plays faster than timed speed. May struggle to get off press coverage. A solid backup and sub package receiver. Will need some pro development. In 26 games he set 10 school records, caught 233 passes for 3032 yards and 38 touchdowns. 2013 stats: 131-1719, 13.1 ypr, 24 TD. OSR:28/ 46. Fourth/fifth round. (A-32 5/8, H-9, VJ-39.5, SS-4.30).
